When January 24-27, 2019
Conditions Asphalt rally, but the mountain weather could bring along some unpredictable challenges. Expect snow, ice and dry asphalt!
Known as The most unpredictable rally of the year!
Important stages
  • Two late night stages in darkness in the southern Alps on Thursday
  • Two loops of three geographically spaced out tests on Friday
  • A double loop of two stages on Saturday
  • Two passes over the legendary Col de Turini on Sunday
Must see Col de Turini, a mountain pass road which normally has ice and/or snow during this time of the year. And if it does not have any of these, the spectators will make sure it has!
History of this rally The Monte-Carlo rally is the oldest rally of the WRC competition. First run in 1911, it was designed to promote Monte-Carlo as a tourist destination, with competitors starting from different European cities before gathering in Monaco.
