This new generation 0W-12 engine oil exceeds the latest and stringent BMW engine oil specification, Longlife-22 FE++ or shorter LL-22 FE++. BMW Longlife-22 FE++ engine oils are only permitted for certain BMW Group gasoline engines with and without gasoline particulate filters (GPF) from model year 2022 onwards. (BMW part number for 1 liter is 83215B5C945, which replaces 83215A83399)
