What is engine flush and how do you use it?

Wolf Lubricants, engine oil, engine flush, motor oil

Under urban driving conditions (short trips, start-stop systems), harmful particles build up within your engine oil. These particles restrict the oil flow and could affect the performance of your engine. Engine flush, an additive, fixes that.

Wolf Engine Flush is an additive that cleans the entire inside of the engine. It does that by removing all harmful particles such as sludge, varnish, carbon deposits and soot.

The result: your engine will operate more efficiently, reducing fuel consumption and exhaust emission.

Compatibility of Engine Flush with engines and oils

All gasoline, diesel and LPG engines, with or without turbochargers, can be flushed with this additive. It is also compatible with all motor oils.

Engine Flush is harmless for Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) and catalytic converters (SCR and others).

Caution: Many newer vehicles do not need Engine Flush. Always ask the advice of your workshop owner before using it in more recent cars.

How do you use Engine Flush?

Flush your engine every 4 years or every 60,000 km. Use one bottle per 3L – 6L of engine oil.

  • Shake the bottle before use;
  • Add 1 bottle of Wolf Engine Flush to the hot engine oil (operating temperature);
  • Run the engine for 15 minutes;
  • Drain the oil;
  • Change the oil filter;
  • Refill the engine with an appropriate oil.

Summary:

  • Wolf Engine Flush is an additive that cleans the entire inside of the engine.
  • All gasoline, diesel and LPG engines, with or without turbochargers, can be flushed, but many newer vehicles do not need Engine Flush.
  • Flush your engine every 4 years or every 60,000 km following the instructions.
