Wolf lubricants has launched an innovative new engine oil for the IVECO Stralis trucks fitted with EURO 6 cursor engines and equipped with the fuel economy pack (FEP1).
Wolf Lubricants has launched an innovative new engine oil for the IVECO Stralis trucks fitted with EURO 6 Cursor engines and equipped with the fuel economy pack (FEP1). WOLF OFFICIALTECH 0W20 UHPD EXTRA FE will be one of the first engine oils on the market specifically designed to meet the requirements of the Cursor engine series, including both the Stralis (heavy duty) and New Daily (light commercial) vehicles.
Engineered for long-term performance and protection
The new Cursor engines feature significantly reduced friction. This was achieved by redesigning internal components, including reprofiled pistons and new piston rings with a lower tangential load. These fundamental changes to the engine mean that it requires improved oil thermal management to avoid over-heating and inefficiency.
WOLF OFFICIALTECH 0W20 UHPD EXTRA FE consists of full synthetic base oil and specific additives to meet the high standards of IVECO’s 18-1804 CLASSE TVL-LS specification. Engineered to improve internal engine cleanliness and provide long-lasting protection, the new oil also shows exceptional fuel economy – a critical factor for fleet managers.
Due to the lubricant’s Low SAPS formulation, it can be safely used with and protects the diesel after-treatment systems used in the Cursor engines. Another important factor is its resistance to oxidization. With Cursor engine turbos using variable geometry turbines, oxidization resistant oil allows them to operate with greater performance under heavy loads and harsh conditions.
